This day was quite short. Usually we walked for 7-8 hours from Barranco Hut, this day was only the halve.

The view of Kibo, Mawenzi and Mt Meru (4500 m and in the background on the above picture) in the sun was unforgettable. We walked in the sun above the clouds, and felt fine.

Karranga Valley is no usual place to stay overnight, but our guides pereferred it. Then we could go slower this and the next day.

This evening we sat by the fire with the porters and guides and talked. That was a very nice evning.
